Follow Up Paths

The Follow Up Paths function is used to define who gets the Follow Ups/Ticklers for each path to be triggered, such as when someone fills out a guest card (e.g., "New Assimilation Example" path) or wants Information on the Small Groups ministry (e.g., "Info- Small Groups" path), etc. (see also the Assimilation screens or the Follow Ups/Ticklers screens for more information):

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Each Follow Up Path can contain up to 12 steps of action that should be performed whenever someone triggers that path. In this example, user "admin" is immediately notified that someone filled out a guest card and that card was entered into the "Assimilation" screen. He/She is initially assigned step 1 to "Mail welcome letter" to that person. When he/she has finished step 1, another follow up for step 2 is scheduled 7 days into the future for "admin" to do a "Phone call to determine level of interest". When he/she has finished step 2, another follow up for step 3 is scheduled 30 days into the future for "admin" to "Call back to see if they need further info" on anything. When that step is finished, no further follow ups are created, since no more steps have been defined on the path:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

In this example, users "daffyd" and "admin" are both immediately notified that someone filled out a guest card and that card was entered into the "Assimilation" screen and the "Small Groups" box was checked in the "I'd like more info on:" section on that screen. They are initially assigned step 1 to "Call to determine level of interest" with that person. When one or the other has finished step 1, another follow up for step 2 is scheduled immediately for both "daffyd" and "admin" to "Refer this person to two small group leaders". When one or the other has finished step 2, another follow up for step 3 is scheduled 14 days into the future for both "daffyd" and "admin" to "Call this person to see if they attended one group". When one or the other has finished step 3, another follow up for step 4 is scheduled 14 days into the future for both "daffyd" and "admin" to "Call their leader to see if they're a regular". When one or the other has finished step 4, another follow up for step 5 is scheduled 90 days into the future for both "daffyd" and "admin" to "Challenge the person towards the membership path". When that step is finished, no further follow ups are created, since no more steps have been defined on the path:
